Text Box: The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration Program is a career planning and exploration program that combines a multiple-aptitude test with an interest self-assessment and a wide range of career exploration tools; and it’s FREE.  If you are interested in taking the ASVAB, you can sign up with MSgt Sanders in Classroom 51.  The ASVAB will be administered on Friday, 25 Feb. 2011, from 0845-1200 hours.  Signups are limited to Juniors and Seniors and are on a first come, first serve basis.

Text Box: FAA's admissions team will be representing Florida Air Academy at the 34th Annual Tico Warbird Air Show 2011 on Saturday March 12 and Sunday, March 13 in Titusville.  Admissions will need five cadets over 13 years of age each day to assist with parking.  Breakfast snacks, lunch, and water will be provided.  The event will last from 8-5 both days.  FAA will cover the transportation to and from school. This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours while enjoying a terrific air show!  Please see Mrs. Reeder in admissions to sign up to volunteer.

Text Box: Varsity Girls’ Basketball:  Congratulations to the Girls on their win Saturday vs. PK Yonge, the defending State Champs!!!!  Final Score was 76-72. They now advance to the Final Four Wednesday @ 4:00pm.  Those students attending school on Wed. can sign up to attend the potential Championship game that will be held on Thurs. The cost to attend is $10.00. Both Wednesday and Thursday are normal school days for any students that elect not to go and those students MUST attend class!
